Many wonder whether having a horse that is good - or not so good - in real life is crucial in the game. In this blog article, we delve into this question in detail.
The horse has its own life in the game
Each horse in the Stables universe has its own attributes: Speed, Endurance, Spirit, and Mind. These attributes are not linked to the horse's real-life performance. In other words, each horse has its own life and story in the Equiverse.
Having an NFT of a horse that excels in real life has no direct impact in the game.
What is the advantage of having a good horse in real life?
A horse that regularly races and earns allowances in real life passively earns S-Points for its owner. The number of distributed S-Points is derived from a sophisticated mathematical calculation, which you can find in our Litepaper.
However, earning S-Points does not give your horse an advantage in the game, as it does not become more performant due to your S-Points.
What is the advantage of having Elaborate attributes?
Elaborate attributes were randomly assigned to each NFT during the generation process. These attributes are not linked to the horse's real-life performance. A horse that no longer races can still have one or more Elaborate attributes.
These attributes provide a slight advantage in races within the game, specifically in the Speed attribute.
So now you know: a high-performing horse in real life does not provide any advantages in the game. Therefore, all Stables horse owners start on an equal footing in the game races.
