There is no doubt that every Racer will strive to become one of the champions of Equiverse in the inaugural race. With glory comes numerous rewards, including S-Points. But how are they redistributed? What percentage of S-Points are awarded to the top performers in each echo?
In this article, we will explain in detail the calculation method used to determine the rewards earned by the top winners in Equiverse.
The number of S-Points at stake in a race depends on the number of participants in that race.
While the vast majority of echos will consist of 10 horses, some races may have fewer entries, as it is a matter of mathematics!
Indeed, in cases where the total number of participants in the inaugural race is not a multiple of 10, a small number of races may be run with fewer than 10 horses.
The entry of each participant generates a prize pool that is redistributed to the top 3 performers in each echo, with Stables deducting 10% from this pool.
In the future, races with larger prize amounts will also be offered, and new information about S-Points and its token will be revealed in the coming weeks.
As races progress, the levels of each horse will vary. The matchmaking system will always organize echos with equivalent levels, and the top echos will have a bonus in winnings.
How is the redistribution of S-Points carried out in the inaugural race?
As you know, the entry fees for the inaugural race are 50 S-Points. The redistribution of the entry fees is done based on a percentage of the total prize pool of the echo, following the percentages below:
50% for the first place 25% for the second place 15% for the third place.
90% of the entry fees are thus redistributed to the top Racers in each race, while 10% is deducted to ensure the sustainability of the project.
An example with a race of 10 starting horses
Let's take a concrete example. How does the distribution of S-Points reflect in an echo with 10 horses?
Ten horses are registered, each contributing 50 S-Points to the entry fees. Therefore, the prize pool for this race is 500 S-Points.
We then apply the percentages mentioned above to the 500 S-Points prize pool of this echo:
1st place: 50% of the prize pool, which is 250 S-Points 2nd place: 25% of the prize pool, which is 125 S-Points 3rd place: 15% of the prize pool, which is 75 S-Points
From this prize pool, Stables deducts 10% as fees, which is 50 S-Points. The total adds up: 250 + 125 + 75 + 50 = 500 S-Points.
An example with a race of 8 starting horses
In the case of a race with 8 horses, we apply the same principle. The prize pool for this echo amounts to 8 x 50 S-Points = 400 S-Points. The top three performers in this echo will receive the following S-Point rewards:
1st place: 50% of 400 S-Points, which is 200 S-Points 2nd place: 25% of 400 S-Points, which is 100 S-Points 3rd place: 15% of 400 S-Points, which is 60 S-Points.
