Stables is a horse racing game leveraging advanced simulation algorithms inspired by reality to bring the dramatic intensity of horse racing to the game.
Stables relies on three major dimensions: race characteristics, horse profile, and strategic choices. To perform well, you must grasp these aspects, which we explain in detail below:
Stables Races
Race Operation
A race involves the competition of a maximum of 10 horses in an Echo. Racers register and make their strategy choices beforehand, then experience the race of their Echo and discover their final position. Each race is an opportunity to win and become the best racer. Details of potential rewards in S-Points (in-game currency), XP, and other rewards are shared for each race via email, in our Discord, and X communications.
Race Characteristics
Each race has its own characteristics such as distance or terrain type. We'll explain how this impacts the game to help you refine your strategy.
Distance
Race distances range from short 1000m sprints favoring speed to long 4000m races more conducive to endurance. Distance is one of the most important factors that must be seriously considered when choosing a race strategy.
Terrain
The choice of terrain also impacts the race since grassy and sandy terrains have different characteristics and require adaptation to avoid penalizing your horse. For example, sandy terrain is prone to sinking. A clever shoeing strategy can help counter this phenomenon.

Horse Profile
Attributes
Each horse starts the game with randomly assigned attribute points. These define its intrinsic qualities and allow it to stand out from its competitors.
The first four attributes available in the game are speed, endurance, ardor, and mindset. The specifics of these attributes are presented below and in this article.
By participating in the game's races, your horse progresses and gains new attribute points with each level.
Levels
XP is what allows your horse to progress in the game's level system to unlock new attribute points. Each race is an opportunity to earn XP and thus level up.
Here are the details of XP points required per level:
Elaborates
The last element impacting a horse's performance in the game is the number of Elaborate gears it possesses. Unlike attributes and levels, Elaborates are immutable. They were randomly assigned to horses at the time of their sale. Horses with 1 to 3 Elaborates are easily identifiable, as this information is transparently available on the blockchain.
Strategy Choices
Race strategy decisions are your answer to improving your horse's attributes by adapting to the challenges of the terrain. Racers have the opportunity to play with three aspects: food, mood and shoes. There are three choices for each, making a total of 27 possible combinations.
Food
The first choice to make is about food. This plays a crucial role in the race performance by compensating for weaknesses or increasing the horse's strength points. Discover the available options in this article and the visual below:
Mood
Once you've chosen the food, you determine your horse's mood. This plays a crucial role in the race. Indeed, bonuses related to the selected mood are activated as soon as your horse is in one of the positions linked to the bonus.
If you've chosen opportunist and your horse ends up between the 4th and 7th position at the last turn, you'll experience an epic end of the race with a tenfold horse ardor. This mood strategy is detailed in this article and these explanatory visuals:
Shoes
Finally, the last choice to make is about the shoes to use for your horse. This strategy helps limit the negative effects specific to each terrain. We detail how it works below:
